Photopaintings of Castellón by Avalon


	The province of Castellón in Spain is a landscape photographer's delight. However, we wanted images that looked good when enlarged and put in a traditional frame. Bare photos didn't quite work. So we created a way to make them look like paintings. Click on the links below to see some sample details.

Terrific! Much easier on the eye. Our customers love them! The pictures are 3600 x 2400 pixels in size. The download files are supplied at a resolution of 144 dpc/366 dpi so you can print them immediately on A4- or Letter-size paper. However, these pictures look best when printed at large sizes, such as 60 x 40 cm (60 dpc/150 dpi) to 54 x 36 cm (67 dpc/170 dpi). Because of the soft brushwork finish, these pictures are also good candidates for digital enlargement. If you have access to a large-format printer (61 cm/24 inch printing width), try enlarging to 5400 x 3600 pixels and printing at 60 dpc/150 dpi - the resulting 87 x 58 cm picture will be a real eyepopper.
